I have used At Home Caregivers for nearly a year to provide daily care for my aunt who has dementia. There were stumbles in the first few months, however, their senior management made sure all the issues were corrected.

Since then, there have been times when staff has had to be replaced either due to my aunt becoming moody with them or the caregivers' situations changed - the management made it a priority to get suitable replacement staff quickly. They not only filled the openings quickly, they filled it with the RIGHT person, not just a body to fill a slot.

I was favorably impressed from the start with At Home Caregivers. Their representative came to me at the hospital and we had a long discussion of my husband's condition and the situation at home. The caregivers she assigned based on our conversation were excellent: always timely; friendly and professional; helpful but unobtrusive. This last is really important when they are living in your living room around the clock! I would certainly call At Home Caregivers again if I needed help, and would recommend them to family and friends.

I was referred to At Home Caregivers by The Eloise Tweeten Placement agency when I was looking for at-home care for my mother. I called several agencies but when I called At Home and talked to Rich I knew it was the right fit. He immediately put me at ease and clearly explained the process. I felt that the price was reasonable and the services were tailored exactly to our needs. Next in the process Karen, the Sonoma County manager, came to my mother's home and spoke to us. She furthered my confidence that the service I chose was the correct one. She was warm and friendly and let us know that they would provide whatever care we needed. We set the hours and they found the caregivers. It was as simple as that and when we needed to change the days or times it was as easy as a phone call. The caregivers they sent were extremely skilled and loving with my mother. I was thrilled with their expertise and willingness to help with whatever we needed done. I also want to express my gratitude for the office staff. They were also very friendly and helpful. It almost felt like I was calling a friend every time I called in. When I finally had to place my mom in a care facility we found that she was having a hard time adjusting at night and needed extra support. I called Karen and she immediately set about arranging for caregivers to work an overnight shift to help her adjust. I was amazed at how quickly they swung into action. The word I can use to describe my experience with this company is Team. I felt like they were on my team working with me to make sure my mom was cared for in the best way possible. I've used At Home Caregivers on several occasions over the past few years and have always been very pleased. Karen does a terrific job with providing appropriate caregivers, sometimes it seems at the drop of a hat! The caregivers have been caring and competent, and easy to share space with.
