All is welcome. Come as you are. The staff is very welcoming & friendly. There are many resources offered here for people in need. If you need food, lodging, a shower, toiletries, clothing, bus pass, referrals for social services - this place is an excellent resource center run by such kind people.

It's nothing but can cooking, I feel sorry for the homeless but It's better than nothing I guess. When I cooked there they at least used Recipes for guidance the managment has no experience in cooking or the word flavor profile.put that together with the cook's having little to no experience and you come up with garbage.

Experienced a meal at The "Upper Room" to learn about this Nutritional Charity & how it Serves our needy folks in our Community with A Main Meal of the Day & Staffed by mostly Volunteers who wish to Help others enjoy a meal in a Safe & Well Administrated Service Organization for our Community.

My interest was also: who Manages, Prepares, Serves & Supplies food.

I, personally found the meal to be: Tasty, Nutritious & Adequately Fulfilling Food; whose Intake needs for a Primary Meal were Superior.

My Gratitude to the Volunteers who participate & lastly, a Huge "Thank You" to the Administrator & Staff who I think are a Huge Asset to supply Nutrition to our Community of people in need.

Extremely grateful for all of the hard work that the volunteers put in seven days a week to help feed the local homeless or/and individuals in need of a hot meal. Definitely worth donating to this organization and several other programs helping those in a rough patch of life.

This place is one of the best places I have ever visited. It is a place that feeds the homeless and needy people from Placerville and I would assume the surrounding areas. The food they serve 5 nights a week is wonderful. So delicious! The people who serve are so kind and friendly. And they are so efficient in getting the food out. If they see an empty plate bowl or cup they will right away ask if you want more. They serve an outstanding desert with every meal as well as milk and juice. And coffee before dinner.
If that isn't enough of the kindness these people show they have 2 vans that they load up after dinner and take all who want to go to that nights shelter. No matter how many trips it takes. Then to top off their God inspired kindness they pick you up from that nights shelter and take you where ever you need to go with in the town of Placerville. My hats off to these wonderful people. The upper room is a place where loving volunteers give of their time to prepare top quality meals to those in need. They do this with joy and thanksgiving for the opportunity to serve.. I was one of those volunteers and I felted blessed to help our community in this way.
