My husband has been a resident of Caleo Bay for the past 2 1/2 years. I had the opportunity of visiting several assisted living communities prior to that when I was searching for a place for my mom years ago.

I selected Caleo Bay for my husband for two main reasons: the high caliber of staff, and the design of the facility. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming, and treats the residents like family members. I would make a list of exceptional employees, but that would be an all-inclusive list of employees!

The design of the facility is excellent in that the residents can walk, use their walker, or whatever means of travel they use, and never come to a "dead end", or a long dank hallway. The circular design encourages walking and socializing among the residents.

There is always an activity going on and family members are always welcome to visit or participate. Parties are exceptionally joyous and we have all discovered that you don't necessarily have to be a youngster to "get down"! You can't help but smile when you're dancing with the fun-loving staff. Alma and Lupita are particularly talented at making sure everyone has a good time!

My dad has been here for 2 years and in my opinion, there is absolutely no better place than Caleo Bay! The staff is so warm and inviting to visiting relatives. They are attentive, positive, respectful, and loving toward the residents, and treat them as if they were their own family members. It takes a special person to do this job, and every staff member I have encountered goes above and beyond in all areas! There are crafts, mind exercises, movement activities, and music going on all day, every day, and residents are lovingly encouraged to participate in everything. Every holiday is celebrated with live music, dancing, smiles, and laughter. My dad has thrived in this environment and has been even more active and engaged than I could have ever hoped for! Special shout-outs to Alma and Lupita, who both radiate absolute sunshine and positivity, and make family feel so welcomed at Caleo Bay 🧡

I was lucky enough to be referred to Caleo Bay by our caregiver and it was the best advice I’ve ever received !!!!! My mom did not what to leave her home but with the extreme help of the directors Sheila and Anthony my mom has been safe and in her new home for going on 3 years .
With the assistance of the new director Maria and Alma the recreational director my mom has flourished in her new surroundings. She goes out to lunch , gets her hair and nails done ( something she never did at home ), has constant activities and she has the 24 hour protection that Caleo Bay offers . One of the advantages here is that every resident has some degree of memory issues so everyone is in the same boat .
My mom doesn’t remember me anymore but I can live with that knowing that she is being loved and taken care of by the wonderful people at Caleo Bay ❤️. Thank you all …..

My mother suffered a minor stroke that affected her cognition to the point where she couldn't live alone anymore. She has lived at two other assisted living facilities locally and they just didn't work out for us.

When I sat with Anthony and discussed the amenities, services and quarters I had a fair amout of confidence that Caleo Bay would be a much better fit. And it is. Vianca and Anthony are fantastic ambassadors. Thank you so much.

I am writing this review to express my appreciation for the Life Enrichment Director,Alma and the staff Lupita, Dennis, and Brelin who make all the magical events happen at Caleo Bay. Their commitment to creating a vibrant and engaging environment for the residents is outstanding! When visiting any time during the day there are activities such as exercise classes, music, spa treatments, puzzle club, movies, laser bowling, bingo, cardio drumming and a resident fav ❤️pet therapy!

pet therapy, flower arrangement and many more! I attended the best Halloween Party!
I am always surprised and impressed with variety of activities.

My husband has been a resident at Caleo Bay for over 3 months now. He is loved and cared for by the Caregivers and nurses who are very professional and give him dignity as his disease progresses. We are treated like family. I believe this is the best Memory Care facility in Coachella Valley.

Sadly I recently had to put my husband in a Dementia Care facility. After touring several places I chose Caleo Bay because of their happy and trained staff. I also was impressed when Dawn Connolly, the Community Resource Director spoke about their 5 tiers of Wellness.
She was also willing to negotiate on pricing. This facility had a referral to work with VA that they paid for! My husband has now been there a couple of weeks and I cannot say enough about the caring friendly staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and the facility. The meals are good and nutritious and if you have special nutrition needs they can accommodate. I feel Caleo Bay is a safe, caring new family for my husband during this difficult time. I am amazed every day when I visit how all the staff at every level always have the time to talk to you and know my husband by name. This is an amazing place that takes their role in helping families during a difficult transition very seriously. I highly recommend Caleo Bay. I feel they are the best in the Coachella Valley.
