I love Japanese BBQ. So of course I went for the all you can eat over 70 minutes option full expecting them to chase me out with a bat for eating my 100kilo weight in deliciousness.

Alas...the service seems to be designed to take so long between ordering and bringing you new plates of meat to cook yourself, as to be a racket. After all, they charge you full a la cart price for any items you don't finish. This felt like a set up.

The meats were slow to come out. Lots of idle time between grilling that could have been spent grilling and eating.

The real rub is that there is an automatic 18% gratuity. This pretty much seals the deal on sub par service. Meaning, i suspect management purposely runs the operation short staffed to slow down the delivery of meats/food to grill. Thereby saving them the labor costs...at the dinner's expense. 🤔

So yeah. This place is t best mid. Not worth the calorie expenditure.

Fun Japanese bbq spot with a good beef menu selection and great combination specials. Place was clean, staff friendly and meat was amazing. I sadly was so involved in the process I forgot to take photos of the bloody meat! I would definitely return and i can say I recommend this place 100%

Great place! The food was yummy and the waitress was kind. I got a salad, meat plate, and rice, which was more than enough to fill me up. I couldn't imagine spending 50+$ on the buffet and it being worth it unless you want to pig out. Overall great experience!

This is the third Gyu-kaku I've been to, and the experience was in line with other locations. In terms of all you can eat options, the supreme seems the best bang for your buck. Our favorite cut is the harami skirt steak. Other options seemed to be over-seasoned or tough. The vegetable dishes were pretty disappointing. I always like getting a slice of Lady M. Service was friendly. We probably won't be back.

I’d come back to this establishment here and there. The atmosphere here was overall pleasant. The waitress for my table spoke our native language (Vietnamese) so it was fun starting conversations with her. She was very kind, patient, and knew how to get us laughing. The food was good and flavorful, everything that was already prepared was mostly good. Some things I wouldn’t order again just because of my preference in taste. The grill to cook the raw meat was slow, took about 10-15 minutes for chicken and 5-10 for thin slices of red meat but it was good nonetheless. While my experience was overall positive, there are things I’m concerned about. The area my group was sitting at (right side of the restaurant where the booths are) had water damage on the ceiling. I could physically see sections of the ceiling bulge out and jiggle, it was raining that day and it looked like it could give out any second right on top of me and some friends, scary! The restrooms I think could be cleaner and more well maintained as well. My final thoughts are to give it a try.

I ate here with my 2 brothers on a Saturday for lunch. Service was pretty quick and the servings were generous. All of the meats were delicious and well marinated.

My family and I had dinner here and everything was so good! We had the all you can eat premium meal, oh my gosh, so worth it. We also had the smores and matcha tiramisu, and it was delicious as well.
Service was good as well. We are Thai, and our server was too, so that was nice. He was very nice, but since it was busy, the service was kinda lacking.

Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ is an incredible dining experience and one of my favorite BBQ spots. While it’s Japanese BBQ, the experience is very similar to Korean BBQ, with a tabletop grill where you cook your own meats. The variety of options is outstanding, featuring tender beef, flavorful chicken, and pork, all perfectly marinated. The sauces and seasonings are spot-on, adding just the right balance of flavor to every bite.

The prices are very reasonable for the high quality and generous portion sizes, making it a fantastic value. You can enjoy a premium BBQ experience without breaking the bank.

The service is just as impressive as the food. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always attentive, making sure everything runs smoothly. They’re happy to explain the menu and offer recommendations, which is great for first-time visitors.

Whenever we’re in Florida, Gyu-Kaku is a must-visit for us. It’s become a tradition, and every time we leave completely satisfied. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and the interactive grilling experience keeps us coming back. If you enjoy Korean BBQ, you’ll love the similar but unique flavors at Gyu-Kaku. Highly recommend this place—you won’t be disappointed!
