Loved it! Very cool temps (you’ll need a coat, even in Autumn) under the canopy, but absolutely the most majestic forest I’ve experienced. The visitor center has all sorts of little things for purchase to remember your visit, including the sweatshirt I neglected to bring!

Wow, what a hidden gem! This was a memorable afternoon trip. The forest in early January was lush and full of life. There are some ancient huge redwoods mixed in with other redwoods of various sizes. I liked it better than Muir Woods because Armstrong was much less crowded -- for most of the time here, we couldn't see any other people. There's a flat path (slightly muddy in the rainy season) that goes 1 to 2 miles depending on which parts of it you choose to see. It's short in terms of distance but there was so much to look at that it took us a surprisingly long time to do.

Incredible. To stand amongst living creatures that have experienced so much - what a wonderful way to spend your day.

Paths are flat and easy to navigate for small children or those with stability issues.

Majestical place for all ages. You can park, pay $10 for parking and walk in or decide to drive in. There's clean bathrooms locates in the parking area before the entrance. Many paths to take, plenty of shade, a few picnic areas, and a few benches and seating area to rest if needed. Great place to take the kids, seniors, handicap and fur babies. Enjoy!

Nice park with well-groomed trails. Picnic area, toilets, visitors center & shop are available. Paid parking. There are scattered water fountains. I recommended you bring water with you. Recommend walking sticks on Pool Ridge Trail. The trees are amazing, good info scattered throughout the park, & it smells wonderful.
