This recreational soccer organization is not about educating the children and making soccer fun for them. They are very political, and have lots of rules that take the fun away for the sport. Most of the refs are too young, timid and inexperienced which leads to an out of control game which leads to escalated situations on the field and off the field. Since most refs were young and timid, they failed to blow their whistles and failed to educate the players when needed. Instead of educating players, this league choses to unfairly suspend players for multiple games even when the calls were made wrong. We will never continue with this organization again. They made us feel like money and punishment was of more value than keeping the sport educational and fun for the children.

Signed my daughter up to be placed on a waitlist for spring 2024 soccer. My daughter never got placed on a team, I never got any communication emails or calls about whether or not she made a team, door did I get a refund. This league is unorganized.

Clovis crossfire is so horrible my kids will not be playing for them anymore. My daughters team started late due to crossfire being unorganized then the games kept getting forfeited so she hardly had any games could not play her last game. We didn’t know who her coach was until later. Not worth the money or the time.

Very political organization. My daughters team was broken up last year when the coach moved. I amongst at least 5 other parents from the team called and emailed the office every day for 6 weeks with no answer or call back. California Odyssey is a much more organized, well run organization.

A disappointing year with CJSL and Clovis Crossfire. I expected better organization after taking a break. Our season ended for U8 11/3 and still no pictures (which were scheduled late in the season and cost us more money). No individual soccer ball to each player as in the past and cheaper uniforms. Fields got switched a few times with little or no warning. Schedules came only a few days before the first game. The kids, parents and volunteer coaches deserve a better experience. I know everyone are volunteers but please consider people's feedback and continue to try and make it better! Kudos to those parents who continue to step up to volunteer on their own time to coach and make it as good as they possibly can!!

What a hot mess this season has been. Tournament canceled night before, only follow first game of schedule then it’s changing, now follow the schedule we told you not to use. Some games have refs, some don’t. To top it off, the medal given at the end says 2022 on it. My son did not play in the future yet. This is 2021!!! They can’t get anything right.

Horrible experience. My daughter was enrolled and just began practicing when Covid-19 hit and everything was canceled which is understandable, however when they resume the team I got a new enrollment email, I paid the initial fee to register her and I was never contacted. I tried calling and email them to get updates or reimbursement. They requested the registration emails which I provided and again I never heard back from them. Please save your money because they will just ignore you after taking your money.

A terrible experience. No organization or effort to keep coaches and parents informed about anything. The president stopped all communication about 2 weeks into the season. We will definitely be exploring other leagues because CJSL was embarrassing to be associated with.
