I'm interested to know what happened with your bus driver throwing water bottles at other cars while driving. Where there elderly on the bus. Also why is she so aggressive, I wouldn't want my grandparents to be in the vicinity of her.

I showed up in person on a recommendation of a friend and the entire building is off limits due to “funding problems”. I was then given a business card and told that this is how they practice outreach. When I called I got one person who sounded like they were in a wind tunnel and I was not going to begin while need needing vital information. I called right back on recommendation and I got an individual who wasn’t trained on persons living with people who are denying their “mild cognitive impairment” even though the person has been begged to see a cognitive specialist for over TWO years. These call center workers are ill-trained volunteers and have the potential to send you all over San Francisco only to have these leads recommend the identical place you just came from.

We had hired Institute of Aging based on the recommendation of a friend. The initial setup was seamless but as time grew on, it was discovered that the caretakers were violating several company policies during the care of my parent. The caretakers also caused damage to the room that they stayed in (stains on the carpet that have not been able to be removed) and the "light house keeping" that the caretakers are supposed to provide has been found to be lacking when I have visited the home (floors were dirty, dishes were left in the sink, etc). For the prices that are charged, by this company, these things shouldn't be an issue. The caretakers also demonstrated a total lack of professionalism and seemed to only bring drama and more stress into our lives in an already stressful situation.

This organization arranges the monetization of suffering. I have spoken with the cynical "Social Justice Warriors" who are there for the money and have no compassion whatsoever. I support the defunding of this parasitic organization. They lack basic human kindness.

People at the Insttute on Aging are always courteous and polite. It is a good resourse to call when trying to identify other resources you need.

I have dealt with Rep's twice over the past year. In both instances the persons I encountered were encouraging and positive, this is important because this process of aging does not come easily
