Not impressed whatsoever this was the first time I used this program to be able to have my youngest cat fixed since i was already limited financially so i felt okay i can pull money together and do the right thing by getting my cat fixed everyone was so nice , At first I was like wow okay this is good just line up in a line with your animals in the car then brought out for intake for the appointment.
But then after i got the call they said she was doing good and was ready for pickup but then it turned to bad when I picked her they had told me she had no uterus, then told me they thought she wasn't domesticated, then confused her with another cat who was a male I completely understand the day we picked her up was hectic but she wasn't even fixed only lasted a month and she is right back being into heat again for the pass 2 months tried reaching out like they asked if she does and took forever for a response..I am never going through them again unless this is fixed

Been going here for a year, not as a customer bit instead a volunteer. They treat the animals excellent, employees get treated well, some people bring foods and during lunch they get everyones choice on food and they buy it from a resturaunt. The people here are just so kind and they take great care in their job and the animals.

I greatly appreciate what these individuals do and I would love to be a part of their family and help. I really feel that we need to reach out to the powers that be in our county to get more agencies like this around our county and not just one that has to deal with all, I've been trying to reach out to our city Board of Directors, the mayor, the governors office, asking for additional help to come in and help this epidemic that is beyond an epidemic. I've gotten no response from our board of directors the office but I'm gonna keep trying they did something like this back in 2016 I believe And it helped we need that again to come in to addition to animal control and Spca who does a wonderful job. Bless you all.

SPCA has been the one saviour to those of us attempting to care for the feral cat colonies. Offering monthly clinics this year for spay/neuter services, TNR programs. It is a much appreciated service, particularly with such a need in the surrounding communities. The staff are professional, kind & organized. With the fees charged by standard veterinary care facilities - this presents a relief, a few at a time, hopefully the future will be limited in ferals. These poor cats don't deserve the life of survival they have been handed & females have no choice in becoming baby making machines. Spay/Neuter is the only answer to limit the reproduction, medical needs, injuries with mating males etc. Thank you to the staff & especially the vet who takes the time to offer the professional services necessary that makes these monthly clinics possible. Best to all of you.

Appreciate all the work that the volunteers and employees do for lake county! my pit bull was spayed yesterday everything went great! Even tho there was a mistake with my appt( my fault) they squeezed her in. She is doing good she has a very small incision. The staff did great with her she isn't out much and she was very scared and nervous. The ladies there took their time with her let her get comfortable until she was able to go into the building with no Muzzle.

SPCA Lake County took the best care of my 75 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback Pit mix girl!!! When she went in to be spayed, they handled her gently, and with kindness, and gave me a full update of how she was doing when the time came to pick her up. They gave me competent after care instructions, as well as meds to take home, and she had no complications.

Spay & Neuter prices here are far more affordable than at a private vet, but you will have to wait awhile to schedule, so prepare early! The best way to communicate with them about scheduling an appointment is via email.

On the day you drop off your pet you will get there early and be in a line of cars and then one car at a time will go into the yard, behind a closed gate. They have it set up that way to be the most safe for you and your four-legged family member.
