Hidden oasis inside the atrium of the Ford Foundation building. It’s a peaceful green space. There is a small art gallery inside the building which isn’t open to the public all the time. Check their website for information on hours and current exhibits.

What a beautiful green escape place in the middle of NYC. It’s totally free but you have to show your ID and your bags are searched by security before your entrance. They were really nice!

It’s was an adorable surprise inside. There are so many plants and trees species, it’s really calm and chilly place, you can’t hear anything from outside. You can just take your own time to explore and enjoy the garden with a soft background music as well.

Before you enter from East 43rd street entrance you have to show ID and bags are searched, security were friendly. Free to enter the indoor garden, just take your time and explore the different levels, all wheelchair accessible by lift. So many species of plants and trees. The design and architecture of the building adds to the peaceful ambience, while soft background music can be heard.

It's such a beautiful indoor green house in New York. Its for the public and free to enter and enjoy. I didn't expect this at all. I side a building in Manhattan for sure. It's so calm, peaceful, and serene. There's ferns, a pond, trees, and flowers. After you relax in the garden, the justice exhibit on the 1st floor on the right side once you enter. What an amazing place to relax, and just take a break from the busy buzzing streets of Manhattan.

Cozy little sanctuary for a spot of nature even in winter.

Free and not crowded, but heavily patrolled with guards who remind you of the rules.
