Parker is a great Community Center representing Hartford in the best way. There are programs for babies kids teens adults and seniors. It's a pleasure working with them.

I have been coming here since it was the Kelvin Anderson building. I was 14. I'm 31 now. I started coming again after work and couldn't believe how empty the building always was. It's usually more staff than visitors now. It was confusing because all the staff I met up to this point was really friendly and helpful. Then I met the morning staff. The women, don't know her name since she never introduced herself, is on a complete power trip. I felt unwelcomed from the moment I walked through the door. I even had to confirm that this was still a community center because I felt like I was trespassing or something. Theres literally was only one other person there besides myself on a Friday afternoon. That is unheard of at Parker. Seems like I should avoid this place during the day like everyone else

I go here almost everyday and it is lit because u have a variety of things to do over there such as playing ball, working out, and swimming.Also, if u have a child that loves to play basketball they can participate in the basketball leagues and flag football leagues which is coming up soon.

I went to use the gym and it was really clean and quiet not alot of people just hanging around. plus the staff was very helpful and nice. I'm planning on making it my go to gym plus it's free

they were very rude to me and very gender and sex offensive. they have nothing to offer queer people of color or a place where you don't just want to play sports. I am from Elmer st in the north end and they need to do a better job with reaching out into the community and seeing what the people want as well as not thinking things are made for just men or just women

I sat and watched some young boys playing basketball. Great 3 point shots and fancy moves up the lane as well. UCON needs to send a scout!
