The community center is quite impressive, featuring clean facilities and modern equipment. It boasts a spacious indoor running track, two indoor swimming pools, and a well-equipped gym, along with a variety of classes. Additionally, it offers rooms suitable for events. We chose this venue for my daughter's graduation party, and it provided many engaging activities in a safe and accessible environment for all, including those with disabilities.

Have been here many times and have always found the older woman behind the desk to not be customer friendly in any way shape or form. It’s also odd that they will not take cash to pay for a one month membership. Between all of this to even get into the building to deal with someone that is always going above and beyond to be rude. But when she’s not there staff tend to a lot nicer and no problems.

Great employees , great service. My biggest complaint is equipment that gets broken takes months to repair. The TV system on the elliptical has not worked for months. This facility needs money to fix any problems asap. Either spend the money to fix it or let the private sector take it over. I guarantee they will spend money to fix things because they know they will lose customers if they don't. Yes it will be more expensive, however you need to run this like a normal business.

Unfortunately, as clean and decent as the 6 million dollar facility is, the pool section is being run into the ground by the current lifeguards. I truly mean that. The lack of integrity, professionalism, and problem solving is disturbing. I have been taking my child to this pool for years, lifeguards have come and gone, but some of the few that have stayed on have really made every experience incredibly unpleasant.

It’s almost as if the lifeguards are looking for a reason to flex their ā€œentrusted authorityā€ on whomever they can. Part of me feels bad for them, because it just shows clearly how empty and insecure they must be inside, but when you start interrupting parents working with their children on; how to swim, interrupting their play time to inspect their actual pool toys, and additionally spending more time staring uncomfortably at the parents sitting on sidelines rather than the kids in the pool, it becomes unbearable.

Weeks ago my child and I went to the pool and there were many other parents there to enjoy a swim. I saw a father with his child in the adult pool, the child had a life-vest on, was using the CCC belly boards to stay a float, and had the father holding on to the board with the child learning how to kick their legs… No problem, right? Wrong. The power hungry teen lifeguard came over and told the man he went over ā€œthe lineā€ with the floaty so he had to stop. Whatever… rules right? Well, funny enough 20 mins later, a group of teens jumped into the adult pool, with plenty of floating tubes in hand, all of them passed ā€œthe lineā€, all around the diving board. Typically I wouldn’t care, it actually looked like fun, but I just witnessed a teen lifeguard go over and stop a man who was walking along side his child teaching them to swim and that was a problem?

I finally told the lifeguard how unfair that was for him to allow his friends to do what regular patrons apparently cannot, to the degree of interrupting a father’s lesson that was being done very carefully.

Now today was our last day there. There was a situation where my child whom has already passed her own swimming test (twice) was in the kiddy-pool with a floating fish that she has been using there for months if not at least a year… Once again, that same teen lifeguard comes up and asks if my child’s small fish tube was ā€œCoast Guard Certifiedā€? I just started laughing because I though he was kidding, but he then just kept starring and saw he was sincere. Mind you it is a floating pool toy. It is not meant to keep anyone secure in the water. He picks it up and says, ā€œIt’s not, I’m sorry you can’t use it.ā€ I was in shock. I expressed it was a pool toy and she already knows how to swim. Nope, it didn’t matter. However the inflatable unicorn she wasn’t really playing with was acceptable. What? I removed the floaty as requested. But to determine whether or not we should return in the future due to the negative experiences… I finally broke down to the lifeguard how I felt he was targeting people, making the pool basically unbearable for children as I’ve seen them walk around the pool with their hands up because they were scared of getting yelled at by the same lifeguard. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

Why would anyone pay for this experience, honestly and at nearly $15 for a one - two hour visit? He denied that was the case, and told me I was, ā€œFree, to leave, if I didn’t like it.ā€ Hah! I reminded the kid, ā€œIf I’m free to leave, I’m also free to stay.ā€ Neither one of us raised our voice or lost our civility during the brief debate, but the lifeguard did march upstairs for a few minutes, came back down, spoke to the other lifeguard, and then that lifeguard came over and started using profanity out of the blue telling me, ā€œI know [you think] it’s f***ing stupid, but she can’t use the unicorn in the pool.ā€ Completely contradicting the other lifeguard from 15 minutes prior. I told him the other lifeguard approved of it and she’s already passed her swimmers test…He stated, ā€œJust because ā€œAā€ lifeguard passed her doesn’t mean she passed.ā€ Done. Never again

I was sitting at the desk in the lobby and my girlfriends finger started to bleed, I told my girlfriend to go ask her for a band aid but she wouldn’t because the lady at the desk was ā€œscaryā€ in her words so I tried to encourage her which ended up with her having a little bit of an anxiety attack and she wouldn’t listen to me telling her to breathe, so I used my finger to open her mouth and that’s when the lady yelled at us saying ā€œwhatever it is your doing stop you can stop it take it out side you just had your finger in her mouthā€ not very real and definitely not good customer service since my girlfriend was already nervous, do better.
