If you are in need of a blessing you’ve found the right place. HIS oc has helped our friends and now us too. We came here having no where to go. They’re caring, compassionate, and will help you get on your feet again. We were able to qualify for a program that paid our first months rent, deposit, and furniture! That’s a good 10k in help we received! And they led us to an apartment that we now live in and love!!! We were able to get back on our feet within a SHORT 5 weeks! So talk about prompt!!! The case workers Jocelyn and the lead Leti were kind, quick, and so incredibly helpful. They gave us so many resources! They’re very loving caring people! They loved our children and treated them so kindly. They can even help with school and school items.
The facility itself we stayed at was a shelter with cubicle like set up. It was only families and the staff and people there made it feel like a fun and safe stay away from home. Even playing movies and providing toys and books for the kids as well as 3 meals a day! Most shelters you would think are unsafe but this place was extremely safe and comfortable and the people there are just families down on their luck.
If you need work they will help you find it as well as assisted child care! There’s no excuse to not improve your life with their help. They have a second location that’s a home, kind of sober living style, and I’ve heard great things!
The staff is caring friendly and helpful! Like a second family. We can’t begin to put into words the blessings HIS OC offered us. Many of the staff has come from similar situations and come back to work and give back. I can see myself doing the same. You won’t find a better program to help you and your family. Thank you Leti and Jocelyn for all you’ve done for us. We could not be more blessed, happy, and grateful to you all!

I couldn't believe a program like this exist. I wouldn't have been able to find a place I now call home without their assistance. This place really wants to help. From the moment I applied, they've been timely and easy to communicate with. I'm especially grateful for my case manager, Jenna. She's made me feel comfortable, been informative about resources and has worked with urgency over matters when I needed them to. I highly recommend this experience.

Everyone is in a hard spot sometimes. I called 211 and they gave me a list of resources. On that list was HIS OC from the very beginning I have had a very pleasant experience. Asking for help is not easy sometimes but Vivian Gonzalez was a breathe of fresh air. Felt like I was talking to the sister I never had. She was so sweet, very attentive. She ALWAYS e mailed me back and as quick as she could. She was always on top of everything reassuring me that everything would be ok and turn out wishing me the best. She even was checking up on me from time to time when I would go a while without contacting her. She helped me every step of the way to get the help I needed for my deposit … well I signed my lease yesterday evening ON MY BIRTHDAY. (Best present ever .. keys to my new home💕) ☺️ she had the check to me in my hand the very next morning. They are great 💕 never knew there was so much help out there 💕 thank you Vivian 💕

I had to move out unexpectedly and had needed some where to stay until my apt was ready. HIS - OC shelter is amazing. ALL STAFF were so welcoming, nice and caring. The shelter is super clean. Staff is always cleaning and you know it’s clean when you smell bleach. I am so thankful that I was able to stay here with my daughter be treated so nicely. Thank you to the day to day staff for being so genuine and so so nice to my daughter and I Thank you to Lety , Josie, and Heather for Cal AIM for making the process so simple and helpful with so many resources

I found this resource when I was at my wits ends. After countless of calls and emails, I found this amazing place. They have helped me and my four kiddos out in so many way's I couldn’t thank them enough. They are all so nice and welcoming. I personally would recommend this resource. There are no words to express my gratitude for everything that HIS House has done for my family and I. They took us in when we had no where to go. They helped us learn how to budget our money and helped us find reliable jobs while keeping a roof over our heads. Even after we graduated they still took care of us and still are to this day. We owe a big part of our family’s success to HIS house. Thank you so much for all that you helped us achieve! Would recommend this place for anyone that needs help and is willing to work hard to make a change.

This is an amazing program that helps those family’s or individuals that really put in the work to get back on track with life and be productive members of society. From sleeping behind a dumpster with my fiancée and struggling with addiction to having our 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment is a blessing and wonderful.. ms vergie is a wonderful women that really puts her heart into helping those that help them self and need lil support to remind them that the program is their to help .. I am a true believer in walking ur line and great things come with hard work anything is possible .. thanks again to ms vergie and HIS OC for all the support and encouragement that was giving to us really appreciate everything that was done to help us reach our goal … love u guys (turbo and India )
