I always use to use the atm at this location to deposit cash into my checking account. I never had any problems, although one day I went to deposit cash and while I was depositing it said we could not deposit all of your funds, so it spit out a $20 bill. I finished the deposit and put in the $20 back in. I counted my cash and it was $580 dollars. When the machine messed up I got 1 receipt that said I only deposited $440 and then the $20 it spit out when it messed up. So I had to go through my Credit Union so they could file a dispute on my behalf. We did all the necessary paperwork and a week later I saw a credit for $120 from self help credit union. So I was relieved to get my money back. Then a few days later I saw the money was taken back from self help ? I was very frustrated and called my union bank and said hey what is going on. My bank said they changed their mind because they did not find the extra money. Yeah right what a scam. I was ripped off. I will never go back to this place ever again!!!

This bank has a friendly, helpful staff. This Credit Union gave me my first car loan during one of the toughest times of my life. I get paid to keep my money in this bank, unlike others that charge fees. It is a quiet place to bank and without all the Hussle and fuss. I wish they would have more hours to do business with.

Horrible credit union. Staff are not very knowledgeable in services. This is the third time my credit union has merged to another credit union and the service gets worse and worse every time. They offer shared banking but don't accept payments. I would not recommend this credit Union and would have given it zero stars if I could.

I'll start off by saying there are people here that truly believe in their mission. Unfortunately, those people are the bottom and have little to no say how that mission is carried out. SHFCU is plagued by bureaucracy and short-sighted ignorance, every department is affected with extremely poor management. Why does this matter? Because they have YOUR money. They are reckless, disorganized and incompetent, then combine that with their aggressive expansion practices. Every bank merger I've been a part of has been an utter S***show. There are no benefits to having your money in this credit union. Do yourself and your money a favor and just put it in an actual bank. Credit Union are not what they used to be.

The tellers are always pleasant and helpful. My favorite part is no overdraft fees!! It's a small branch so don't expect all the conveniences of the Big Banks. Has been great for my basic needs.

If you are looking for mortgage loan steer clear of this place. There is no reason that a lender working in today's market shouldn't be able to close a conventional loan in 21 days. Not only can they not close a loan in 21 days, they can barely close a loan in 40 days. After a 2 year roof certification was provided (which oddly had to be paid for prior to close of escrow) and a report showing that the roof had over 5 years life expectancy (apparently one of their conventional loan requirements) this lender held off on sending out the initial closing disclosure (which has to go out 3 days prior to close of escrow by law) because the earlier dated roof report stated that there was debris (leaves) on the roof and the lender stated that she needed a report showing that it had been removed. Having a lender like this doesn't only add stress to an already stressful situation but can actually cause your deal to fall through.
This lender needs to get out of the lending industry and move on to a different industry that doesn't require any communication because it definitely is not her forte.

I been trying to talk with someone in this bank for days now, but it seems that the phone service is broken, is the typical press this number for this option, press this number for that option but once you get connected to talk to someone all you can hear is a recorded voice saying: "your estimated time is 1 minute" they made me wait for one hour hearing that annoying recorded message over and over and no one ever answer the phone, I really hope someone from the bank read this review and do something about their broken phone service! And that's why I give this bank a one star review

WOW HOROBLE!!!!! UNPLEASED. The guy I spoke with was completely unprofessional on the phone & made it seem as if it was my fault for a non authorized transaction instead of providing me with better information on how to help me as a customer! This is my money & id like to feel safe not blamed for! He was very very rude.
