I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from my local welfare office in Stanislaus county California. It has been 20 days since I submitted my SAR 7 on January 30th, and I have yet to receive my food stamps or an approval. The delay has forced me to rely on a food bank to feed my family, which is unacceptable.

I expect timely and efficient processing of benefits for all eligible citizens. It is frustrating to see such inefficiency, especially when taxpayers fund these services. I hope this matter is addressed promptly, as no one should have to struggle due to unnecessary delays.

If you go right before they close the doors I'm talking about like minutes before watch how fast you get service! It's the hack that nobody realizes saves so much time. If you want to sit and wait for hours by all means go ahead and get there early you will be waiting for hours. Meanwhile I'll spend my day doing more productive stuff getting stuff done and stroll in no earlier than 10 minutes before they close at at 4:50 pm they close at 5pm and they cannot deny or turn you away they have to process your reason for the visit. And best believe they are fastest they ever been they practically throw you through the entire process flying you all the way out the doors. You will spend more time standing or walking window to window than you will sitting waiting for your stupid number to be called. I waited one time 4 almost 5 hours for a replacement ebt card last time I went there during the late morning or anytime during the day. Yesterday I got the with 4 mins to spare not by choice just so you know, it was the only time I had to get there, and I am glad I did cuz so many hours I have wasted waiting at these government offices. Anyways I was there for the exact same thing, EBT card replacement and I literally was out 5 min after they closed the doors. So from the time I got my number to the time I got my card and got into my car the time was like 6 or 7 mins total time from getting out the car to getting back in after finished was 10 to 11mins. 😱🤨🧐🤬😯😲🤯😎😜🤣

I have been trying to get ahold of someone at this business for more than a week now and I can never get through to anyone. When I request a call back it always tell me that there was an error. By far the worst experience ever.

Avoid going to this office at all cost, this is by far the worst office in the valley, rudest staff. Waited one hour and half with an appointment letter and still didn’t get help. I couldn’t even make an inquiry to the workers because they wouldn’t answer any questions.

They never answer the phone!! They'll schedule an appointment to call so your aid will continue BUT THEY NEVER ANSWER or the call will drop so you can't even leave a voicemail. Then they make you feel bad by telling you that you missed your appointment like it's your fault they didn't answer the phone. This is harmful to the community who need these programs to survive. Who do I contact to make a complaint? This is getting ridiculous. Do better!

After my friend filled out all his paperwork they sent him in the mail he sent it back the next day , he never got his food stamps. I drove him to the office after three hours waiting the guy helped him do his renewal interview and said it would take no longer than ten days but it's been 12 days since then and his social worker is still holding up his paperwork and she never answers her phone or returns a message. Most of the workers are genuinely caring and try to help their clients as quickly as possible but his worker either hates him or hates the job and needs to be demoted from dealing with the people because my friend has fetal alcohol syndrome he applies for jobs several times a day he is on indeed and after interviews they never call back . His disability makes it take a little longer for him to get the routine down for his job but he does get it and he always shows up early and he will always stay late if needed he'll work harder than any one there and never complains, his worker always sends his sar7 at the last min so I have to drive him there to file it at the kiosk. I've told him to ask a supervisor to assign him a new worker but he doesn't want her to get in trouble but meanwhile he goes a week without any money for food , but as I said most of the workers are good people some let the power they have over other peoples lives go to their heads

I have had to loose my benefits all because some of the staff even if they don't work directly for this office doesn't do their jobs right! Can't get ahold of anyone to talk to anyone. It's machine message after message .

Ever time I go there just happen to be the most beautiful female guards there I love it . Oh yeah wait times are fast and employees are very helpful.
