The Paso Robles office staff/case workers do a terrible job of helping low income seniors. My case worker, Denise, has never returned a phone call to me after leaving multiple messages in Voicemail and leaving messages with co-workers who tell me I have to wait for her because they can't look into my case because they don't have access to my case. I know that is a lie. I received a letter stating I had Medi-Cal but when I have tried to use it, it says I am not active (another lie).

We recently got into a financial crisis, and having the help sorting through what to do was so helpful. They gave us pointers on who to call for various services for our family, and we're very kind to us. I also like the security in the building (the rooms are all private, and there is no judgement in the building). It was a very easy, quick and pleasant experience in what would otherwise be super stressful (we were so stressed about everything else, and this helped put us at ease).

Fyi it takes over a month to change residency and payment towards landlord. It's the 9th and I am getting notice from my landlord. No rent. I have notice just over half a month. Thank you for my first strike. I have 4 more to go!
