Fairytale theater presentation of Peter Pan Jr the mini musical! Excellent cast & crew, sound was a bit off but lighting, characters set and atmosphere was superb! Great job to ALL who made this happen. A fabulous family fun show! Tomorrow is the last show, might want to check to see if there's tickets left.

We went to the Sneads Ferry Shrimp Feast. Maybe Friday and Saturday were better days to go. $15 per person to get in. $12 for the shrimp plate. $1-$10 for parking. We lucked out at the $1 place. Food was cold and the tea did not taste right. But the building had air conditioning. One row of expensive crafts. One and half rows of food venders. The $15 did include all the rides and music. Unfortunately, I get motion sickness and cannot even look at things that move. We wont be going next year. Plus, August is just to hot and muggy for an outdoor "festival".

Went to the Senior Citizens Dinner that is put on by the Rotary Club. It was delicious! This is the first time my husband and I have been. This is put on every year and now that we know about it, we will plan on going every year as long as the Rotary Club is putting it on.

Went to the "shrimp festival on Friday night." It turned out that there was shrimp on only Saturday and Sunday. Lots of signs all over announcing the Shrimp Festival on the 10th, 11th, and 12th. Just nothing to say dont come for the shrimp till the 11th. Lots of disipointed people who paid six dollars just to find out No Shrimp on a Friday. Event management was hostile. disagable and acted like they expected a prize for donating their time. Don't blame the County. The festival is it's own entity. Lots of very disipointed people.
