Atcca itself is a great organization and helps our community in various ways. They distribute food and other necessities throughout the motherload region. However, I recently had the opportunity for my daughter to volunteer here at the distribution warehouse. The volunteer coordinator, Joi, treated my 17 yr old horribly. Yelled at her for drinking a cup of coffee. Told her "your not getting paid to drink coffee!" Excuse me... she is a VOLUNTEER! She then proceeded to call my daughter a liar and refused to sign off on her volunteer hours. My daughter did over 100 hours of volunteer work for this organization only to be treated like garbage by paid staff!! The audacity of this grown woman is astonishing! So, I guess, if you need help this is the place to go. But if you're a person who would like to help out in your community I would stay as far away from here as possible! They have paid staff to do the work and don't appreciate the volunteers!

The people genuinely help the public. On food pick-up days, the employees work their butt off, trying to get as many people in and out as fast as possible. Even in bad weather, these people hustle to help people. Great job, ATCAA employees and volunteers!
