I've had a bad experience with this organizations case managers that I'd like to share to bring awareness to those who may fall into a vulnerable position of needing support threw a tough period in life. I've been victimized and taken advantage of by many persons in a position that can cause harm in your life when they choose to step outside of their trusted character due to personal animosity or just don't like you. In the last 7 years Unfortunately, and I mean unfortunately I've been targeted multiple times by judges, police, case managers, property managers, agencies, organization, doctor's, therapist, random stranger, all bothered by my confidence, perseverance, assertiveness, and overall presence in this world. All judgement of me has been made without research or background check, and based on pure assumption, stereotypes and stigma that has been fieo

The worst they make you feel bad about being a refugee and intimidated plus they don't have any organization for clients who are mentally ill and actively abusing drugs so they expect everyone who's sober to out up with all the drama at the village of love down the street. Just a money making scam that has not helped me and lots of other people around the area. I just found the resource center at the community college further up the main street and I can use some of their stuff in a better environment.

This company is amazing. I was not aware of all the wonderful resources they provide to assist the homeless. I am so thankful to everyone especially my caseworker Javohn H. You can tell when someone really loves their job because they will go over and behind to make sure their clients are well taken care of. He has been amazing throughout this whole experience and transition in getting me housed and I greatly appreciate his professionalism as well his efficiency. Everything moved so fast and swiftly and I was housed and fully furnished in no time. I really appreciate the Building Futures team and what they stand for. Thank you all

I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with Angela, who has been an absolute godsend to my daughter and me during a particularly challenging chapter of our lives. Navigating the complexities of securing stable housing can be daunting, but Angela has been with us every step of the way with patience, compassion, and unparalleled professionalism.

From our first meeting, Angela treated us with kindness and respect, making us feel heard and understood. They went above and beyond, not just in helping us find a safe and comfortable home but also in ensuring we had access to all the resources and support we needed during the transition. Their knowledge of the system and dedication to their clients is truly remarkable.

What stood out the most, however, was how Angela connected with my daughter. They made her feel safe and hopeful about our future, qualities that are priceless during times of uncertainty. It’s rare to find someone who not only excels in their professional capacity but also possesses the empathy and warmth that Angela does.

I am incredibly grateful for everything Angela has done for us. Their assistance has not just changed our living situation; it has positively impacted our lives. If you are in need of a case manager who will genuinely care about you and go the extra mile to help, I cannot recommend Angela highly enough. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us a new start and for all the kindness you’ve shown. You are truly one in a million!

I stayed at this shelter for almost a year. I moved to another state. Four months after I left the shelter, Francesca Payne, contacted CPS in my state and attempted to utilize them as a weapon. I encourage you to direct your donations, monetary and tangible elsewhere. I give them one star because my children had somewhere to sleep at night. For that I am appreciative. I can and will never understand when people abuse their authority and power. Fortunately for me, I am a good mom and I take great care of my children so her report went nowhere, but it is unsettling to think that an entity that is supposed to help families is hell bent on destroying them.

Called this place for almost a year and even when I was a domestic violence victim and homeless they still refused to help me. Fast forward, I've gotten help and housing through a whole other program that helped me with no hesitation. They're very picky on who they choose to help. When you call, they direct you to other places. You'd most likely have to be referred here by a social worker or someone in that caliber otherwise, they're not going to help you.

Through the years Building Futures has helped 4 of my friends who were homeless....abused....& in great need. Some with children some disabled & some were men. Three of them they found homes to live in where they pay 1/3 of their income for rent! I cannot praise them enough for their love & assistance to the homeless! God Bless building Futures ......They are worthy of praise & support. Those of you who feel led to help the homeless should consider a gift to Building Futures
