My aunt is very blessed with some awesome caregivers from Comfort Keepers. I am very thankful for all of them. Amanda is the caregiver that has been with her the longest. In talking with my aunt, she mentioned that Amanda is always two steps ahead, plans and solves issues that have or will come up. She always shows up on time with a willing attitude to take care of my aunts needs. Amanda is very respectful of my aunt and her need to maintain her independence. They always have a discussion about the agenda or task that needs to be accomplished for the day, as well as preparing for future things that will be happening in Amanda's work week. She takes my aunt to all of her doctor's appointments, and she knows what questions to ask that will help her navigate health concerns and ways to improve and maintain healthy living habits. She makes sure the house is always stocked with the items needed. I like how Amanda will tidy up around my aunt's home, do laundry, etc. She likes to be busy, always helping where she can. Amanda has an excellent bedside manner and she puts the needs of my aunt first, very gentle and responsive. As my aunt is getting up in age, Amanda likes to encourage her to sit up, walk, and exercise as much as my aunt can tolerate. Her notes that she leaves for other caregivers are very detailed and that is helpful to those who are caring for my loved one and the doctors as well. I believe Amanda has so much to offer others and I could go on about her talents. Our family is very glad to have her.

I would like to take a moment to share my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for Rosa, the caregiver for my father. Rosa is absolutely amazing and a shining example of what a dedicated caregiver should be. She is truly a great asset to the Comfort Keepers agency, and her love for her job shines through in every interaction she has with my father.

Over the years, we’ve had a few different caregivers, but none have come close to Rosa’s exceptional care and dedication. Mom is 82 with Alzheimer’s and a diabetic who speaks Spanish. We needed extra caregiver assistance so retained Comfort Keepers to find a good match. Comfort Keepers came out to do a thorough assessment. The provider they sent, Julie, was a perfect match. She was a trained home health aide who immediately developed a good rapport with mom. Julie is very attentive, preps and feeds her meals, helps mom get dressed, gives medication reminders and is an amazing companion. Most importantly, she does everything with compassion and patience. Julie is so great with mom, that mom is happy to see her and mom laughs and has a good time.
Just recently mom had a near fainting spell and Julie was right there to catch her and get her safely to the ground. Julie immediately took moms vitals and made mom comfortable until paramedics arrived. Julie’s quick response prevented a serious fall.
When Julie is providing care for mom we have a great sense of relief knowing she is in good hands. This is important because I travel often for work and need someone who I trust and is reliable.
We are lucky to have Julie.

At first, my sisters and I were nervous about having "strangers" come in our home and take care of my 84-year-old mom with Dementia, but we knew that we needed the help, and they did just that. The office was able to come and take with us the same day we called about the service even after a couple other companies tried to schedule us for a week later. After the meeting, my family and I felt assured this was going to be the right fit for our mom. The caregiver that came out was experienced with dementia patients and she was even able to teach us a few tricks to handle her behaviors. As time went on, our caregiver became more like family and my mom seemed to really enjoy her time when our caregiver. We were so happy that our mom is able to enjoy her best years in her home instead of a nursing home. Thank you Comfort Keepers.

Mariola is the best caregiver I have had I really enjoy her she takes good care of me. She likes my cat too
He waits every morning for her. I won't let other caregivers give me a shower . Only mariola. She fixes my meals and helps me to walk to bathroom.
My experience with comfort keepers gave been overall good. I like having my consistent caregiver.

My mother fell a few months ago for the 6th time in 6 months, but this time, she was unable to walk on her own. I reached out to several caregivers' services to try to secure the best care for mom. I spoke with Markeith McCrew, who was very professional, kind, and showed sincere care for mom and our family's needs. I was very impressed with Markeith's approach to our needs. Most of the services I interviewed all charge the same price per hour, yet Markeith made the difference in our decision. We started with 12 hours a day but slowly graduated to full 24 hr care. Crystal and Salud in the office are also very professional, kind, and efficient when issues arise or scheduling changes are needed. I get a monthly schedule, so I am fully aware of who is on duty each shift. The communication is very good, and if a caregiver is unable to make a workshift, the other team members at comfort keepers strive hard to find a replacement ASAP and keep me informed of progress.

The caregivers are very good, and I must praise Kiara, Katherine, Lisa, Veronica, Ayotunde, and Jasmine for their efforts as carrgiving requires special people with big hearts as well as tender compassion and experience. Markeith also has been instrumental in ensuring that the required tasks are completed on each shift and also provides training to the caregivers as needed.

The caregivers have become a part of our family, and we certainly appreciate the positive efforts and growth as we move forward.

I have found the staff at Comfort Keepers to be very responsive to any of my questions and the care workers have been very attentive to my 94 year old mother. My mother has praise for Rosio and Juan. Knowing that my mother is cared for and feels uplifted by their presence, not only comforts her, but me as well. A job well-done Comfort Keepers. Your work is important.

I have used Comfort Keepers (Torrance office) several times and they are outstanding. The office staff is very friendly and helpful and the caregivers are, as well. My latest caregiver was Brandon and he was very attentive, making sure I actually got in to my appointment and then made sure I was home after and comfortable and able to be on my own.
