Hemingway park does not allow small dogs. I’ve been coming to this park my whole life & have never been told dogs weren’t allowed. Recently I was told I couldn’t have my dog on park premises. The staff couldn’t tell me directly although he was 10 feet away from me. He went in the office and announced it over the speaker which I found rude & unnecessary.

Pickleball is now at Hemingway Park. It's a beautiful park in the city of Carson with amenities typical of a park. Walking trail, basketball, horseshoes, pickleball, baseball, and a clean kids area. It also has a swimming pool with waterside. The park hours are terrible and the bathrooms are locked all day until staff arrives. No dogs, bikes or skating allowed in the park. The rules are pretty strict, however, the park is clean and safe. It's a great place to play or learn pickleball.

Brand new 8 pickleball courts with lights here and it's super nice. Got that new court smells 😄 parking lot is small so if there's a lot of people playing then street parking would be it. There are restrooms and water station too, really nice for the area.

This park rocks! The staff is friendly and highly involved with the kids. This is the ideal clean, safe and fun park. My kids love to go to Hemingway Park as much as possible. Lots of kids and a cheerful environment. They provide lots of after-school activities. Five thumbs up!!!

Nice clean park w/ bbq area. Great affordable facility for afternoon events. Been coming here for yrs for BDay & graduation parties & baby showers. Clean restrooms outside of banquet rm. Staff always avail., helpful & friendly. My child has been going to their day camp. Parking is limited.
