Graves are in poor state, but not really blaming the church for that. It's a shame.

A very interesting tour. The church was wonderfully remodelled after the fire in 1975 (which I witnessed as a student)- it is lovely & light, well restored with tasteful modern features such is the new stained glass windows.

This is a jewel in the crown of Streatham. The cemetary has a wonderful wild feeling but clearly it's well maintained. It is lovely to see the freshly restored stonework too, plus the interior has some monuments of real stature. Well worth an explore.

An old and well-known place.
Over the years it has become a landmark.
A very old traditional place of worship but still easily accommodate the young and the Old equally well.
Have to look around for parking so if there's anything special you need to come early.
There are also lots of places to eat around just in case you feel peckish.

I'm not religious at all, atheist all the way, but I do love the look of churches and graveyards, especially old ones. Unfortunately the homeless and drunks ruin the places as they seem to think they own the places. They threaten and intimidate people when they walk through. A while ago I was showing my young daughter some old graves and we given verbal abuse by a group of drunks.
