Nice shop, shame about the management!
Lots of decent stuff in this shop at good prices. Unfortunately the management are Rude Prima Donna's who seem to think the shop is run for their benefit. I've donated hundreds of items over the years and barely received a grudging thanks. Worse still they often refuse to sell or reserve items that are on display.
They no longer take CDs but rather than refuse they throw them straight into the bin. Such a waste as other charity shops would be greatful.
I'll definitely be donating elsewhere in future.

Spacious interior with appropriate inept merchandising trading the usual charity shop assemblage of clothing, household items, books, bric a brac look and whatever’s.
Now this might not sound like much but in the grand scheme of charity-shop-dom, difficult to fault.
Combative pricing rules here - you’re more likely than not to find something you had no idea you’d never need.
Worth taking a gander and rummage.

Avoid this shop. There is no changing room available so you can't try on clothes but their policy is that anything you buy can only be returned within a week. Fine if you live locally but not so good if you live a bus ride away. And they don't offer refunds, only an exchange of goods. I was abruptly told by management that this was decided during Covid. Perhaps they haven't noticed that we are no longer under lockdown? These draconian rules mean that this shop is drastically out of line with most of the other local charity shops. I am very surprised that an organisation like the Salvation Army set up to help people should be so rigid and anti-customer. What is the manager thinking of?
