It was closed when I came by, but you can see see over the gate. The tombstones are old and growing over with vines, but they are fascinating. The man who discovered Halley's comet is buried here, and there is a small tower that's like 1000 years old.

Lovely church with a bright, airy and warm atmosphere to it. I was there to attend a piano 🎹 and violin 🎻 recital put on by the pianist Maria Luisa Munoz Lopez.

Wonderfully overdecorated interior - it's not my taste but I love it! I'm sure it's a great church but my only visit (in 40 years in the area!) was for a concert, and it was an excellent venue. Especially for the loos in the crypt!

This is a lovely church with an interior that belies the exterior. 8 12ft stained glass windows highlighted by norman arches. Now I m pretty clueless about architecture but when u see quality u can appreciate it. Inside boasts of an organ played by one John Thomas. I didn't go there for the service. On weekends in the evening they show movies, classic n new. Last night it was the phantom of the opera 1925 with lon Chaney. The people running the evening serve wine n refreshments. The place boasts a nice waiting area as doors open at 7.30pm but they r usually early. Shows start at 8pm. Tickets r fairly cheap n if u pay a wee bit extra you can sit on comfy chairs. Otherwise bring your own cushions. Parking is free n there is a bus service that stops outside. 60 people turn up so can't be bad.

Amazing place, a true jewel, a must visit place. The stained glass windows are great art, the master did interpretations worth of a museum. The wood carvings in choir are perfect. This church has to be visited and preserved for humanity. I intend to visit a service. The lady who gave us the introductory talk this Sat 02/02/2019 was amazing, I believe all tge community are great. Best wishes Dr Georgi Christov
