Good park. Big kids playground and toddler playground. Large grass area. Usually lots of off leash dogs. (Don't bring yours if you aren't down with that.) Pool open in the summer. Horseshoe pit. If you want to reserve a spot for an event, plan ahead. Takes a few weeks back and forth with the volunteer.

Quiet park located in a country area surrounded by stunning nature from every direction. There is a playground, pool (which probably opens in summer) and clean bathrooms. Plenty of parking spaces. Visiting this park will encourage you to take a tour in Carmel Valley, which has a very distinctive appeal. Great for the family to enjoy the weekend. You can either get there from Highway 68 through the zigzag mountain road of Laureles Grade, or you can go take the Carmel Valley road from Carmel.

Absolutely delightful little museum! Took my daughter here while attending a company picnic and was pleasantly surprised by how much native American and cowboy artifacts they had there. Definitely worth the stop for any history buff!
