For about 4 yrs I have used Greenleaf Car rental and have always had a great experience. Staff are always friendly and helpful and the car rentals are always clean and available when you arrive. I have family in Carlsbad, Ca and was always told to rent a car from Greenleaf rather than from the San Diego Airport, where you're going to pay arm and leg for a car rental. I live in Round Rock Texas, and I wish we had a Greenleaf Car Rental in Texas. Great Car Rental Business. I'd give them a 10 star if I could. Oh! No worries. If you live or within five miles of their location, they will pick you up, and when it's time to turn in the car, they will take you back to your location, as long as it is within their five mile Car Rental Location

Check in was easy and the staff was great. But they charged me 100$ for some dog hair in the back seat. I signed something at pickup about EXCESSIVE pet hair but I had a dog in my car for 3 miles just one time. So it clearly wasn’t excessive. When I called them they said they had a strict policy about no pets. Which is different than having a waiver for me to sign for excessive dog hair. They should have said no pets! Pretty upset I could have saved myself 100$ if I had known that or if spent two minutes vacuuming up 100 dog hairs. I liked the service but I won’t be using them again.

Everyone that I interacted with was wonderful, friendly, easy great customer service and very, very very reasonably priced. I am so thrilled that my car dealership sent me to Greenleaf because they didn’t have any loaner cars available for me. It was a really really wonderful experience

Used this company for rental through FORD carlsbad in JUNE. Had to give my debit card for deposit. Nothing was charged because rental was given back clean and without any damage. 6 months later ( today) I find out that I was charged 704 dollars on 12/19. WHY?! Disputed to bank. But im 704 short and right around CHRISTMAS when im supposed to be doing any remaining shopping for gifts. BEWARE

Update:
If the charges were denied by the dealership for 6 months you guys had 6 months to INFORM me of the issue. At which point I would have gotten in contact with them and my lawyer. After 6 months of debate with the dealership you proceeded to charge my card without an email or phone call to inform the customer of the issue! Unacceptable and completely unprofessional.

NOT RESPONDING TO CLIENTS!
I am so disappointed with this company. I was looking for a rent a car in Carlsbad, I asked for a price, they quoted me a good one, so I wanted to rent the car for a week. NO ONE ANSWERED to any of my further emails, calls or webform contacts.
You cannot rent the cars through the website, they give you a price through email and they do not bother to answer further. I got stuck with their miscommunication and now I have to look for another company, most which are too far away from the place I am staying.

Last week I rented a vehicle from Greenleaf’s Carlsbad office while my own car was being repaired. My experience was positive, efficient and definitely exceeded my expectations. I’ve traveled for decades both nationally and internationally and I can attest that the rental process at Greenleaf was the fastest, simplest and most friction-free of any car rental I’ve experienced. My agent Robert was efficient, courteous, professional and patient. He handed me a simple, one-page rental agreement and answered my questions completely and thoughtfully. After I turned in my rental, Robert personally drove me in Greenleaf’s dedicated customer shuttle at no charge to pick up my newly repaired car. In the future, I’ll be sending my out-of-state family and friends to Greenleaf whenever they visit me in Carlsbad. Kudos and thanks to Greenleaf and Robert for a truly 5-star customer experience!

I've actually never heard of Greenleaf. This company was selected for me by the dealership while my vehicle was being serviced.
What a happy surprise, it was great, I received a nice, clean full sized new vehicle. It was an easy process they were quick efficient and Covid-19 compliant. They have plexiglass barriers, sanitized ink pens, hand sanitizer available and masks are required. They also provided a courtesy shuttle to and from the dealership that was great.
I world use them again.
