We love NCMA! They are the BEST after school program ever! My daughter has learned so much and we’re still relatively new to the program. NCMA is a great place for kids to learn not only karate but values and discipline, the team of coaches are highly trained, very professional and understanding with the kids even when the kiddos are having a bad day or not really in the mood for training they have this magical ability to get them back on track! Staff is very supportive with parents, 🙏 I’m grateful for my friend who recommended this school for my son Ryan V.

First, our son loves it here. He has been excited to show off everything he is learning for martial arts. As parents we see he has been learning so much more. Simple things like keeping his locker together, being more responsible with his stuff, and more. The teachers are all amazing and fun. Mom and dad have full time jobs so school that gets out at 2 and no school on Fridays makes things tricky. Thank goodness NCMA can pick him up from school and take him to do homework, martial arts, arts and crafts and games! I highly recommend to just about anyone.

NCMA is an amazing place for kids. I have two boys (4th grader and 1st grader) who joined the after-school program there, and both of them love it. The coaches are super nice and friendly, and they always encourage the kids to be confident, kind, and positive. They also love the martial arts class there, which keeps them active, improves their sleep and appetite. Highly recommended!

We LOVE North County Martial Arts!! This karate studio is my second family. Their staff picks up my kids from their tiny charter school and brings them to the studio everyday. They encourage my older boys to be leaders for the younger ones while also encouraging them to train everyday and always work toward their personal best. They have optional parents night out every month and a great summer camp program. My boys are not only getting exceptional karate training, they are also getting life training! I highly recommend this studio and their after school program!!

Our daughter enrolled here in January 2024 at age 9 and with zero background in marital arts and has loved her experience. We have been very pleased with the programming and classes. The owners and staff are extremely dedicated and invested in the kids’ success in martial arts as well as in their discipline and how they treat others and behave in the real world. Equally important as the lessons themselves are the mat chats that they do at the end of each session. The talks are an excellent reminder for the kids to embody that black belt mentality and we are super happy to be members of the NCMA family!

We have been sending our son to NCMA for almost four years now. The growth that he has shown, both physically and mentally, is incredible. It truly takes a village to raise a child and NCMA has been a big part of our son’s growth. We are truly grateful for all of the guidance, support, and love that Master Bettis, Miss Ryder, Mr. Limberg, Miss Moody, Mr. Salmonsen, and Mr. Kaneko have shown our son.
