As with many libraries in the US it has the same flavor, I liked the approach to invite people into working here, and lots of meeting rooms too.

Librarians are a national treasure. I had a hold at the main branch that had not been put on the shelf yet, and the librarian stopped what she was doing to go into the back to get it and she was so cheerful and nice about it. Another librarian helped me update my information in the system. And their aura is just so calming and positive. I feel like I can go to the library if I am stressed and come out so much happier. Thank you Carlsbad for this happy place.

It was pretty crowded but the help desk was so informative. She was working at the main desk when I walked in and was absolutely welcoming. I hope to run into her again. She made a great impression at this one ❤️

Amazing, modern library! Self check out and a store with an incredible selection of discounted books. There is also an honor book shelf where you can take a book without checkout and return it later. Many cubbies for study or computer work. Simply beautiful library! Great separate kids section with toys and materials for youngsters. Huge parking lot and wheelchair-friendly entrance. Check it out!

Spent Quality time with my 5 YO Gson in the kids section. Activities abound for any child from scavenger hunts to fun learning material. This is a great place to spark the love of learning for children and adults of any age. Love this library.

This is a beautiful library in the La Costa neighborhood of Carlsbad. It was built around 1999 and recently renovated to expand its internet and digital and multimedia resources. They also expanded the interior and upgraded the furniture.

It had meeting rooms, art gallery, auditorium, classrooms, and a great kids section. A cafe is coming soon. The staff is extremely helpful. Highly recommended!

I grew up at this library and just came back 20 years later — it’s still the best place ever. They also have a seed bank which is so cool!
