I am writing this review for the sole purpose of acknowledging what fine care my father recently received. While there I met and observed many of the staff members who not only took care of my father but attended other patients within the same room as my father. I noticed one particular CNA Leenah who personified every great aspect of taking care of the patients under her charge. She clearly loves taking care of patients and it showed. I’m forever grateful to have met and watched her interactions with my father and other patients. She is undoubtedly a caring individual and ian outstanding representative of Menifee Lakes Post-Acute mission.

My father Gregorio Ruiz was for about two months in Menifee lakes post acute. He passed away may 24 he was 94. I have no words to describe this wonderful place the staff and director made dad feel like family treated him with respect and dignity even though dad was at times very difficult to deal with, but one person in particular was loving, caring, compassionate towards dad his name is “Angel” he cared for dad almost daily thank you Angel for all you did for dad we are forever grateful!! Nurses and staff thank you!!

My mom has been there for three months and everybody has treated her with kindness. She can be very difficult and usually complains about everything and she has not said anything negative about this facility. The only downside that I see is do your own laundry they have lost all of her clothes often bringing back clothes that don’t belong to her. Ever since we started washing her own clothes, everything else has been great.

Don’t put your family members here if you won’t be there with them. They don’t care about there patients. I had my grandma stay there recently, she was there for IV therapy ABx and wound care. They did that fine. But everything else they didn’t do their best. My grandma would suffer a lot of anxiety and they did nothing, not until I had to go and speak with multiple nurses. You need to be constantly behind them. The RN for morning shift goes by many names Jessi/lourdes. She doesn’t follow up with any orders MD gives them. My grandma was suppose to be on another abx prescribed by infectious disease MD. I checked in about 2 weeks she was never on that medication. Not until the second f/u app, they inquired again. By this time she was already being discharged. But horrible staff. Had to give 2 formal grievances for staff members that were rude. No one cares at this facility.

When they discharged her, they didn’t have a follow up appointment with her PCP. Now I have to wait more than a month to do this. They never really communicated with us.

I would give -10 if that was a option,
Upon admittance, they put me in a bed for short people so my legs hung over the bed by a foot. Trying to get/call a nurse was pathetic.
The food was deplorable. The small room housed 3 of us. Both other patients had their tv’s on 24/7. The guy next to me snored extremely loud. Getting sleep was out of the question,
The staff did NOT give my primary dr the orders from my specialists and after several attempts to get them. We finally gave up.

Don’t send your loved one here if you want them to come home. My grandfather was sent here for rehab and he was supposed to come home on a Tuesday but Monday he then got Covid from this facility and was not able to come home. He developed bed sores, and was transferred to the hospital after not eating or drinking for 2 days. We ended up bringing him home on hospice care and lost my grandfather 3/19/22 since we have not been able to recover his belongings from the care center. But don’t worry they send you bills but can’t return a phone call regarding the where abouts of his belongings. We had one nurse at this center that went above and beyond for my grandfather and actually cared and that was the one who ended up sending him back to the hospital. Every other person we have encountered here has been awful. And just so everyone knows Covid did not kill my grandfather he was asymptomatic and passed from other complications due to in part of the lack of care he received from this facility.

I visited my Grandfather here several times, and it was clear that he quickly took a liking to the staff. My family had a similarly positive experience: 10 of us surprised my Grandfather with dinner, and the staff cleared out a conference room, brought us chairs, and generally went out of their way to make everyone feel taken care of. I joked that the if we had asked for a chaise lounge, they would have tracked one down for us. Though no one wants a loved one to require extended medical support, I'm happy and reassured that my Grandfather is surrounded by staff who clearly care.

My mom was here for 21 days. I thought the care was okay, not great not terrible. All of that changed today. She was brought home yesterday and we discovered a very large bed sore on her backside.I am devastated right now. According to the doctor's report, it's a red area. The flesh is GONE!! My family visited her every single day and we didn't know. Imagine the poor people in there who have nobody checking on them
