This place is a joke. If you ever find your self in need of help, don’t call this place. They will ask you many personal questions only to give you a number for a shelter. I could have done that myself via google. The housing department is horrible. The person whom called me made me extremely uncomfortable, when I reached back out to next door solutions to place my concern, they said they will have someone else call me back. Only to have the same person call me back. Useless place. If you plan on donating here, Please donate elsewhere such as sacred heart, or Salvation Army where they will actually help people.

I volunteered at Next Door years ago, and the house is clean and nice. However, I would over hear women calling looking for shelter space and the staff saying, "that they were at full capacity" when indeed there where open beds and a room available. I find myself having to be one of those women calling for space and often wonder if like in the past these women are lying.

There great at listening and gathering all the private details about what is going on in ones personal life, however, there is so much more needed to be re-evaulted if they truly wish to make a change in the life of families. I am not discounted those women who truly have good intention, but there needs to be someone giving constructive, real criticism. This County is too rich for faulthy services.

Besides that, they need to rename there "petty cash fund" into something more nice. It's good to be kind, and not sarcastic to those who find themselves in need of help. We need genuine women willing to help and not people just looking for a paycheck.

It's been 2 years of me seeking on and off help and no one helping. I also, think the IRS should audit them.

So glad to have been referred to next door solutions. They were so kind and helpful the whole way through and provided guidance, help, and support. They made the process of filing court paper work so much easier and less of a hassle. I am extremely grateful!

Sometimes it is a smooth experience but most of the time the women who work here I feel place labels on clients and discriminate. They report to DA and police too!!! The girl at the desk usually has a problem with eye rolling and twitches her eyes when “helping” Edna seems noisy and not helpful.

I am part of a small organization called Live On! that visited to make a donation. Everybody was helpful and responsive. They were very kind and were very glad to get the donation. We are so glad that people are getting the help they need here and will continue to support them!

I had posted on a neighborhood app in regards to a DV case I have been a victim of, and I cannot tell you now many individuals recommended Next Door Solutions.

I am so blessed and thankful that this organization is here and accessible. Speaking with staff is a breeze that will bring you ease. DV issues are not something to joke or take lightly and this organization did their best to make me feel safe, supported, and sane.

Numerous nights I spent crying and lost, now, very little. I am dealing with the heartbreak of the separation that must take place for my own wellbeing. I was offered classes right away, group sessions that would help boost my self esteem and clear my mind from the negativity I was poisoned with in my last relationship. I have not attended them yet, but I soon will once I have the legal stuff squared away.

If you or someone else is in need, I HIGHLY suggest Next Door Solutions. Remember, we cannot help others who aren't willing to help themselves.

Thank you again for saving me.

The lady on the crisis hotline was extraordinarily rude. I was calling on behalf of a friend to inquire about their services and she asked me why my friend wasn't calling instead. I told her that he wasn't in a safe space to do so, and she said that he could "call when he was ready." She offered little to no explanation on their services, and basically just asked me "What do you want?" For a crisis hotline, this is extremely disappointing.
