Great place! I lived there from August 2013 until January 2017. I took care of the roof garden for 4 and half years. It was very therapeutic 4 me. I recovered and move out to live independently!

4.5 stars out of 5.0 stars. Nurses are genuinely interested in you're day and how you are doing. Medical case managers brings up interesting topics for daily critical thinking and supportive services. A closed knitted community with plenty of cameras to keep each resident and staff safe and protected. Visiting and overnights guests has been on hold since March 12 2020 due to the Coronavirus shelter in place order and will resume at a later time

Board-and-Care SSI benefits: +$300/Month...(!!), free food 24/7, ALL single rooms w/sink & refrig., Nurses on duty Mon-Sat, Rent = 30℅ of total monthly income (yeah, i pay $340/Month)...!!!

CONS:
Living in an older 2-storey building with 30 other residents, (and ALL their issues); no separate, single-resident restrooms/show
ers; Only FOUR (4) restrooms/showers per floor, but remember: "Living with 30 other residents (and ALL their HYGIENE issues)...

Worth the Work, what do y'all think? Is the absurdly low price to rent each month worth the hassle to ya'? And what about ME; having lived here about 5 years, do I think it's worth it

Well... yes. You see, to me it's pretty simple: fairly clean housing IN San Francisco proper;(with benefits including free In-house nursing and an SSI raise of$300!) for just 30℅ of your monthly income (and that's just $340 a mo. for yours truly!)?!? Sometimes you just GOTTA go buy a bottle of Lysol Bleach and keep the area YOU live in sanitary, and just treat the bathroom floor like you would on of the old school Dog Runs, before their owners were shamed into picking up their own dog's messes!
