This lovely museum and art gallery made a great stop in Catalina to learn about the local history, see some lovely art, and sit a spell on the gorgeous rooftop patio. Happy to support the local nonprofit groups that bring this place to life.

One of the best attractions on Catalina Island is definitely the museum! You pay upon entering and it is a self guided tour. We spent about 1.5 hours here and learned so much about the history of how Santa Catalina Island came to be. From secret military operations to famous movie stars who lived there and films/movie sets, the infamous fire of 2007, and how Wrigley’s insight, fortune, hard work, and legacy is embedded in this island getaway. It’s really a fascinating museum - I highly recommend!

Kellie and her staff were wonderful to work with for our recent wedding. She was informative and answered every question I had. She helped me to maximize space so that we could easily accommodate all of our guests and have the large dance floor we were going to require. . The museum is a blank slate where you can really dress it up or down to your liking. Thank you Kellie and staff for helping to make our wedding amazing.

The museum has lots of information covering the walls, barely a wall without some awesome knowledge on it. The bathrooms were clean, and I really enjoyed all the information they had and the video they had playing in a screening room. If you read all the walls, took your time in the museum, and drank/ate a snack on the second floor rooftop or in the gardens downstairs you'd probably take around 2-3 hours if you're like me. It's also easily accessible by town. Very much reccomend.

A very small but well put together museum documenting the history of Catalina Island. Everyone should find a section or a display that they find interesting since the history of this island is fascinating and extensive. It’s a bit pricey so if you are on a budget you might end up skipping. Clean restrooms, ice cold AC and a good gift shop round out the reasons you should check it out!

This is an art museum and they sell artificial intelligence t-shirts of Frida Kahlo, a famous painter. AI steals the work of real artists and pumps out fake art. A lot of the other t-shirts are also made with AI. Really not okay for an art museum to do stuff like this. Please remove these. You pride yourselves on supporting local artists and then take away artists’ jobs to do this? Why not pay a local artist to make a t-shirt?

Very interesting history of Catalina - definitely worth a visit! It was cool to see the development of the island and who once lived on the island (like Marilyn Monroe).

pretty nice place. it was empty when i visited. the Titanic story was on exhibition. the artifacts found on the island are neat to look at. i would carve out 1.5 - 2 hrs for avid museum goers. it's decently priced for entry. comfortable. ok place for children. i would visit again and recommend.
